I am trying to trace where I can find details on Henry Morgan, whom I believe was born in Thirsk, Yorkshire c.1848, later going on to marry Martha Waddington in 1870 in Bradford.

I am keen to establish where in Thirsk I might find records (evidence) to support his birth and birth parents and hopefully, the generations before - assuming that it was common for little movement around that time.

Guidance most welcomed.
