Charles Bell b.abt 1818 possibly Springbark Scotland convicted at Edinburgh court 23/7/1841. Was in prison hulk Warrior before being transferred to the Emily and transported to Tasmania arrived 24/11/1842. He was convicted of stealing 57 silver watches along with a Francis Smith. I have found the two of them in the 1841 Scottish census in Paisley Renfrewshire. Charles was 20 and an Iron moulder. He had 2 sisters one Elizabeth the other name unknown and a brother James birth dates unknown. His parents were Robert Bell and Jane Hamilton. I am trying to find any written information eg from Edinburgh Gazette and also any information about his parents and siblings. Charles ended up living in Daylesford Victoria Australia. Convict records have given me a lot of information and I would be pleased if I could get some help from his years before he came to Australia...Thanks
