I have looked on the 1911 census and found details of Albert Harrison (aged 42) a Carter and his wife Ada (aged 38) both born Stratford upon avon. They have apparentlyly been married 18 years.Their seven children are all born in Birmingham.Along with their 3 eldest children Albert (16) Kate (14) and (William 10) they should be on the 1901 census but NONE of them appear. |

Many thanks to one and all.I have tried every spelling of Harrison known to man but had never considered Harris. You lot never fail to amaze me with you ingenuity. I think we have it caracked but how odd they have made the same mistake in the 1891 AND 1901 census. |

Ian, I found them by looking for Ada using first name only. Maybe they added the "son" to seem posher! Or if like my ancestors hiding from the rent man ... |
