Hi, does anyone have a Kirkheaton, Huddersfield baptism book for pre 1830 that they could do a look up for me from please ?

Looking for Thomas Denton with a father James. Born about 1830

I have the 1830 - 1836 and he is not in there.

Thanks tons in advance and if you want a look up done from my book I'm more than happy to check for you :-)

Thomas was 1830 ish
James 1811 ish

On the 1841 census it just lists the 2 of them - no mother listed so guessing she died ?

You've found both James & Thomas in the 1841 census, that's right - thank you :-) The rest is not the family though I don;t think.

I just need to find the mother now, can't find anything on searches that's why I thought the book may help.....

you need to contact the local Family History Society - these usually carry records in either or both CD form and book form which you can purchase

Yes they do, I have already purchased a 1830-36 from HFHS that didn't have the info I was after so I was asking if anyone already had the one previous to that they could look in for me in before I go and buy one..........
