thankyou for all your time and trouble. I already know about the Slomowski/Brett history, however I am keen to trace this more recent Brett side of the family as they are the only remaining branch of the Slomowski dynasty. All other siblings of Julia having a different father. Thankyou very much, |

I see! Anyway, I suspect probate records can't be obtained so recently, at least not online. I would suggest getting the death cert really. |

Not sure about that, but I looked for them on Ancestry trees, finding one which appears to be closed. This is given as their parents, bizarrely (no spouse for Edward) |

well thats fabulous! I only wished I had asked before! the Brighton bit was only family oral history so quite possibly wrong! the only hard fact I have is his birth certificate, as shown by brummie jan. thankyou, any other tips would be fantastic! |

I have the birth certificate for this relative, however, can find no further record of any kind for this gentleman. The only history I have is that he ran away aged 16 and joined the army, had a child with someone called Molly Maud maybe and died in Brighton. Any help would be gratefully recieved! :-) |
