Please can anyone tell why it is that we cannot see the last column on the 1911 census? Im sure i have probably been told before but i cant recall,thank you very much!

It has sensitive information, such as people being called, for instance, imbecile - times change, and maybe the person would have a different description nowadays. I think that it will be January next year when the column will be revealed.
It is to do with the 100 years' privacy rule, for want of a better word.

Sensitive information consists of:
Details of infirmity and other health-related information
Information about family relationships that would have been kept secret
Details of children born to women in prison, who were aged three or under at the time of the census
The 1911 census information will be released in full on 3 January, 2012
