I say I am not sure this is him at all but it seems strange that if they married in France in 1902 why is she saying they are friends in 1911?

Trying to find when Alfred my great gf arrived and left England. Have information saying he arrived in New South Wales Australia in 1912 aged 56 but don't know where from. I assume it was England as my grand father (also Alfred) was born there in 1907.

He (Great gf) was born in Haute Marne France in 1856.

From census: Lived at 17 kings george square gonnell rd holborn london with 2 children-- alfred paul brun aged 3 & 1/2 and pierre george brun aged 9, alfred lefebvre 54 , clotilde brun 40. lived together for 14 years as "FRIENDS"....lol

The children could have left as either Brun or Lefebvre.
