That is the dates that is on the birth cert, the registration date is the day after the date of the Declaration so whether they had to wait for this I dont know? |

Was it 6 weeks to register a birth and this might be just outside that time |

I have recently recieved a birth certificate for one of my relatives, but one of the entries is puzzling me, its under the column 'signature and discription and residence of informant', it says " Lucy May Hall Mother Priory Mount Hospital Haverfordwest as per Declaration dated 8th March 1944" |
