Not sure you need the actual image? This is the full transcription. Gertrude married 3 years - I think to Frederick, he has the number 3 after his name, crossed out. No children. |

There is no other way really, unless you find relatives. Have you tried Search Trees box? The only other long shot is to find their deaths and see who registered them, but that's a bit hopeful and a last resort I would say. |

Hi, thanks for your replys, brummiejan, Gertrudes maiden name was Jordan, so the actual record states the mothers maiden name, I thought it would have her married name, well now if thats right no wonder i couldnt find him!! |

The record after 1911 should always show mother's maiden name - that's what makes them so useful! |

ALL birth certs include the maiden name of the mother..........it's just that on pre-1911 indices the info is not shown |
