Find Ancestors

Could someone please take a look at the death of Mary Tattersall recorded in 1844, don't know what details FMP give but would like her age if possible and her address when she died.

Unfortunately the reported age at death only began to appear in the registers in 1866. It will however appear on the certificate itself as will the address where the death occurred.

Where did she die? There are some parish burials that give the age.

Very sorry I should have said in my message that Mary Tattersall is recorded as dying in Leicester in March 1844, which doesn't match those that you've found, can I trouble you to have another look?

Thank you Helen for looking for the burial of Mary Tattersall but the one I'm interested in died in Leicester so not the right one I'm afraid.

Do you have her on the 1841 census,or was she born after that was taken?
If you do have her on the 1841 census when/where does it say she was born/
And if a child who are her parents?

Have you looked here as I did for a poss burial and maybe baptism if you know her parents names?

There is no burial on FMP for that name in Leicester.

I can't find her on the 41 census or find where she was born, don't know if she was a child when she died or an adult and Tattersall was her married name. I'm sure I saw a death recorded on FMP for 1844 and it's also on Freebmd, haven't found it on Familysearch.

So how did you get to her to know her name and she can not have been a child when she died if she was married..
Who was she married to?

There are no Mary Tattersalls in Leicester on 1841..at all..that I can see...

As Jonesey says...The death cert would tell you some details..

Sorry not to have answered your last message, I missed seeing it and wasn't able to check over the weekend. I saw the death record on freebmd for March 1844 in Leicester and wanted to see if I could get her age details to check if she was a relative without having to buy a cert. but it looks like that is the only way to check her out.

With there being no Tattersalls in Leicester on the 41 census I didn't know whether she was a child or an adult,the one I'm looking for married a Tattersall.
