Find Ancestors

Can anybody help me I want to order up copies of two army birth certificates for two children born in India whilst their parents were in the Army - father in the army but mum joined him and had 4 children two survived and two died. I have a reference page but it does not give a Volumne number does any one know how I can order them up. Any help would be most helpful.

Details of children - surname Edwards - this is the correct spelling
Cyril H - Location Allahabad - Born 1911 Lilian W - Location Weerut Born- 1912 Eric - Location Hyderabad Sind - Born 1916.

I think but am not 100 percent sure that you order them from the GRO but mark the form as overseas births.

You can do this without an index no @

That is correct Toots...I got HIDs mothers cert that way...She was born in Latvia while her father was working there and wife went with him there....

Just tick the overseas births and then it will all be clear as to how to...

I only knew you had added the children's information because I suggested in a
pm to you to do it, so, I was searching for your thread to see the details.

If you add the info as a new message on your thread (type it in the reply box at the bottom),

It looks then as if Cyril and Eric died very young. - I have not found anything on Lilian yet but their father was a 'T' Edwards.
