1891 Census Lookup

Could someone please lookup, 1891 census for Thomas Murphy born about 1856 and Jane Murphy born about 1861
They had four daughters Eliza born about 1881, Jane 1882,Ellen 1884 and Louisa about 1888. All from Liverpool

Jane is a widow in 1891, a charwoman. She and her daughters are boarders with John & Sarah Grehan?, 30 Elias St., Everton.

He must have came back from the dead lol. I have them on the 1901 census with daughters Ellen,Louisa and Eliza with husband William Dodd and also a son Thomas. 1911 Census with a daughter Louisa and Grandchid Eliza.

Can you put 1901 details onto here, I can see Louisa but not Jane and Thomas.

Hmmm! She says she's a widow in 1891 and she and her daughters are boarding with another family and then within a year she gives birth to a son named after the husband who is supposed to be dead. Then, lo and behold, in 1901 her husband is with her! I think it's a miracle1

You're welcome, sorry we couldn't be more help. He did work on a ship so perhaps at the time of the 1891 census, she thought he had died. Who knows!
Maybe getting a copy of Thomas jnr birth certificate would confirm the father.
