Cant find Henry and Jessie on the 1901 census . Bethnal Green is north of the River Thames and Camberwell is SE London. Maybe Jane was in domestic service when she met Edward. Funny though not to marry in her home church but then there doesnt appear to be family members witnesses on the marriage cert so maybe she was estranged from her family or wasnt quite 21 when she married so didnt have parental consent. |
