so that rules out the birth in 1924

are you sure about the son's name?


IF Mike* is correct with the marriage that he found, then this is the birth of a son surname Stratton mn Snith.


Alton is in Hampshire

There is this marriage but I can't see a birth for son Ernest with mmn as Smith.
Was son born before marriage ?

Can anyone give me further information about Catherine 'Kitty' Stratton born 1891 and died in Swindon in 1965 age 74. She was married to Ernest Stratton born 1892, died 1946 age 54, and they had a son Ernest Alfred born 1913 died 1988 age 74. At the time of Ernest death they lived in Sandown Avenue Swindon.
