hi all
just to let you know
my daughter is doing her dads side of the family tree
and on freereg has found 10 marriages with
fathers name witnessess everything you would get on a cert
well worth alook

cant find any of mine
all the best lorraine

If you google .... genealogy freereg there are a few sites... not sure how good they are as haven't used them

It is a good site but at the moment there is very limited coverage. If the parish you are interested in is there then it can give a real boost to your tree. I was able to go back four generations of Smith in one branch.

One slight niggle is that you have to select parish and county unlike the freebmd site where you have to select either the registration district or county.
