Astra, i see your point , i did'nt think. This ancestor of mine seems to have had at least 4 wifes that i know of. I have never found a Samuel before and i think he must be another son..

I can find a death for a Samuel Corthine who died age 6 weeks on 25th October 1831 but not a William.

I posted the baptism for other researchers who might want to help and the marriage because his wife's name had changed by 1841 when the first census info became available. I realised you already had it but we post to help fellow researchers as it saves them time.

Thank you Astra but i already have the birth information and i think that this is a second marriage and the one to Susan is a third. I just can't find anything about this william after he was born.
