Desperately need help with this. Hector Claude Marsh was born in Guernsey c1906 the youngest of 13 children born to James Rodgers Marsh born Melbourne, Australia 1865 and Elizabeth Roye born Downpatrick, Ireland c1865. He married Ida Elizabeth Bisson in Guernsey c1926 and they had 3 children before he upped and left about 1930. I cannot find any info for him after this apart from a possible marriage in Northwich, Cheshire in 1946 to an Avanel B Crouchley and a possible death for him in Hackney in 1955. I believe he did live in England but can't even confirm this, nobody within the family knows where he ended up so I don't know where to begin. The only thing I have found that is definite is an entry for him on 1911 census. He is a real brick wall and I would be grateful for any help.

As you know his parent names then you could check the fathers name against the marriage cert of 1946 to Ms Crouchley

Hi Leonard, thanks for helping.
It might be him, I have no way of knowing and tbh I have already forked out a lot of money for certs which proved to be the wrong ones. It's like he just vanished.

Shirley, I think I may have to. I honestly thought he would be one of the easiest to trace being so recent but have had more luck with his ancestors.

Kucinta, thank you very much for help. I would like to know of these children in case they are his.

TootyFruity, that could be very interesting, thank you. Do you have any idea how long that journey would have taken?
