I am trying to find information about the ascendants on the paternal side of my family which, at present, is a bit sketchy. My father's name is Harold Lucas. He was born in Barbados in 1940. His brother's name is Ellis. Both came to the UK in the late 1950s/early 1960s and served in the RAF. That's about as much as I know. Can anybody help? I look forward to hearing from you. |

Did your father or his brother marry in the UK? If so, they should have named their father on their marriage certificates (if they knew the name, which many people didn't, for one reason or another). |

Are you already in touch with the people who have Harold Lucas 1940 and Ellis Lucas in their trees here at GR? |

Thanks JaneyCanuck for your advice. Have done as you have suggested regarding the Search Trees button and have made contact with two people. |
