Did he have any family as Smith is not the most uncommon name!

Hi Can anyone do a lookup for me i am trying to find a Death for David Stanley Smith born in England in 1942 and we think he died about 3to 4 years ago in the califonia (Simi Valley area) there is a David Stanley Smith listed on Ancestry who died in 2008 can anyone please tell me the details
