I need some advice please. I want to obtain DC for above. There are 3 possibles date wise. Is there a way to find out the name of the spouse on the certificate so that I can order the correct one? |

Is 1844 his birth or death date? Where did he die? |

1844 is his birth date. I've found him on the census up to 1911 in Edworth, Beds, where most of the family were born. The only possible dates (I think) for his death are in Hackney (where his daughter lived). |

Thanks Jonesey. This is one of the most difficult ones I've had. I think his wife actually pre-deceased him. It seems reasonable to assume he may have been with one of his children when he died. This creates another problem - he had 13 in living in various places! |
