I am looking for Robert Clark c 1808 and then his descendents from then until 1900 .I have been onto Durham parish records on line , and scanned Whickham , Ryton, Blaydon and even Gateshead without any results ,apart from Robert born 1809 to John Clark in Whickham , Which could be the correct one , however until I can find the rest of the family , as found in the 1851 census , Mary his wife plus his two sons and a daughter . Please can someone help to find this family , to enable me to carry on my search :-0

Hi Daphne
Tweedys Buildings are still there, it is in Ryton (not the village) on the main road from Blaydon to Hexham. It is built three sides of a Square with Black House Lane as one side and the next section along the main road with the rest going down the opposite side to Black House Lane. I hope I have not confused you with this description but it is difficult to explain otherwise. My relatives lived in Nos 5 and 1.
