If someone has access to the 1840/1850/1860/1870 USA census, could you please look for James Earley born New York abt1838. I've found one on the Mormon site for 1860 living in Franklin, Indiana but only have limited info so don't know if it's the right one. The one I'm looking for left the USA for Ireland sometime before 1879 with I think his father Michael who was born in Ireland abt 1802 Any info on this would be great.

I will be going off shortly but will be back again tomorrow sometime.

Many thanks

Kath

Hi Ann of Green Gables and Alviegal

Thank you for the USA Census info on James and Michael Earley, think the James on the 1860 iliving in New York is a possible as he's farm labourer, when he went to live in Ireland he had a farm so could be the right one.

The Michael Earley ones are all possibles, could one of you give me the details of the other pople living at these places if there are any? thank you.

Also are there any records available of people travelling from the USA to Ireland before 1879?

Many thanks
Kath
