Pamela J.Simmons born 1935 Surrey,England..Parents were James P.S immons and Lily(Glue)Simmons.They emigrated to Australia in 1949,arriving Melbourne 14th May on the ship Chitral.I'm trying to find out if Pamela married and had a family.S.Flanagan

Wow !! Thankyou so much for looking that up Helen.I'm sad to see that Pamela died quite young,but hopefully I can contact her family and ask about her and life in Australia.Best wishes Sylvia.

If you go to www.whitepages.com.au/wp and do a residential search on the surname Oliver with initial S (Simon), there is one listing in Dandenong that may be a match.

P.S. There is also a James Philip SIMMONS who died 1986, funeral at Springvale (he was cremated). Possibly Lily's husband.

I can look on the electoral register for Jon and/or Simon oliver..and the girls though they have probably married. Can look on Tuesday..today a public holiday..Queen's Birthday..Eileen in Tasmania
