Could someone please do a 1911 UK Census, Find My Past or other UK website lookup for:-
EDWARDS Kate or Katie Pennicotte born 1871 Newbury Berkshire UK
I found a record on FreeBMD which says she married either LASHAM John Frederick or MATHEWS Edward William in Newbury in the Jun Q of 1909 in Newbury Berkshire.
I have a feeling her husband is Edward Mathews as I found an old postcard sent from England to New Zealand from a Kate Mathews and the postcard is a photo of Church of St Nicholas and War Memorial Newbury and she has written "this is the church where we were married".
Does anyone know if there are church registers online that I could check also?
