I wonder if any of you can help me trace the ancestors of Thomas Sherry who was born in 1811 in Shropshire. He was married to Catherine Davies and had 7 children Enoch, George, Jane, William, Abraham, Alfred and Samuel

This looks like Thomas in 1851 - with more children. The Davies children are all shown as daur/son-in-laws. This probably means they were adopted;

Given the age of Thomas junr, I would guess that Catherine was Thomas's second wife.

George with first wife in 1841 - given the age of daughter Jane in 1851, we should be able to find Thomas's marriage to Catherine, which would give his father's name:

Where did you get that 1811 Thomas' father was Thomas? Did I miss something?
Edit: OK i got it, at his marriage to Catherine father's name was Thomas.
