Find Ancestors

I so waited for the 1911 census to arrive so I could find the above but to no avail, I then waited for the scottish census just in case but again no luck.
I have tried every variation on the names of the family imaginable and am just about to throw my self off the highest available surface, which thankfully is the coffee table!!
Any help would be very gratefully received.

Head Joseph William Neal b 1880 Pilkington, Radcliffe, Lancashire
Wife Roseanna nee Rothwell b 1879 Kearsley Lancs
Ch Dorothy Ann Neal b 1903 Wingate, Durham
Francis Neal b 1904 Durham
Walter Neal b 1909 St Helens, Prescot

Rosanna, whose name has been spelt various ways over the years, died in Gateshead Union Workhouse in April 1912 which makes me think they may have been over that way in 1911. I have picked them all up in recent years but would love to put this jigsaw piece in place.
I think I need some one to look with out the blinkers that we sometimes wear when we have out own ideas.

I have Birth Cert's for all three, they were all born late in the quarter, parents were otherwise occupied (!?) and didn't register them until Jan for all three.

Jan , I've searched addresses on all cert's I have. Only address I haven't searched is the workhouse on 1911 and don't know how to find it.

MIke -- I think the dates are probably correct -- all those registrations are Q1, so born Q4 the preceding year - ?

But would show in censuses with a dob of the later year.

Oops, I fell behind while searching -- no luck either so far!

I don't have access but maybe someone else could check this one out ...
