Hi All,

I'm trying to find out something about the man my great gran's sister married. Her sister was Dora Rose Ditch born 1892 in Wallington, Surrey. She married a Richard H Maddren in 1919 in Croydon district and then emigrated that same year, arriving in Wellington, New Zealand.

It looks as if he was Richard Hitchens Maddren born JFM 1893 Penzance 5c 243, as this is the only Richard H Maddren I can find and his age fits. I can't seem to find him on the 1901 or 1911 Census, but I'm only using GR records and I would be interested in learning when he may have left Cornwall. Whether he was in Surrey alone or whether it was a big family move, etc.

I don't know if it's possible to find out what happened to Richard and Dora after their arrival in New Zealand. Whether they had kids, when they died, etc.
