Why on earth post a help request and not give the *names* of the people?? "G" and "E E" ... ?
What is "any information"?
Pam, if that's taken from this site, it's another reason not to pay for records here. - edit - I see you edited. ;-)
Peter, all you have to do to find the marriage is go to FreeBMD and search for a marriage for the names Drinkwater and Moore. It's free, fast and easy.
http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl
Marriages Dec 1916 Drinkwater Ellen E Moore Sheffield 9c 1123 Moore George Drinkwater Sheffield 9c 1123
The marriage certificate will give you their full names, ages, fathers' names and fathers' occupations. If it is their ancestry you are after, that is what you need first.
If you want to know whether they had children, you need Ellen's birth surname. Presumably you know that; we don't. - edit - given Ellen's age in 1911 there would not have been children of the marriage. (From the 1885 marriage, she was Leach.)
Then you search at FreeBMD for births with surname Moore and the mother's surname. Depending on how common her surname is, given that Moore is common, you may get numerous unrelated births. You would have to check the area of the births to get an idea of whether they belong to this couple.
Then you can always search trees here at GR for anyone who has those names in their tree.
If you haven't read the "how to use" post at the top of the Find Ancestors board, it's a good idea to do that.

I get the feeling that's the bit Peter knew and we didn't. ;-)
If I were to guess, James Drinkwater is the main person of interest, Ellen being his widow and George her second husband.
As the instructions say:
Give as much detail as possible when explaining who you are trying to find. All known information will make it much easier for volunteer helpers to help you.
If known, try putting the name, place of birth and year of birth in the subject line of your thread.
After posting a question, please stay on the boards for a while as replies are very quick. You may be needed to answer questions and give feedback to the replies given.
Given the dearth of help requests brought on by the advent of the appalling Living Relatives board, we'd all love to help, if we knew what the question was!

Appreciate your comments and take on board what has been posted in reply, I no longer due to work commitments spend enough time on here and tend to lose my way. I am not always able to "linger" having posted. still I willpay more attention in the future to information posted
