Can anyone help with this one please.

John or John Hill Seymour born about 1880 in Belfast, went to USA on the City of Paris.the ships passenger list has been mislaid by me, sorry, so I don't know what year. 1920 ish.
He worked for Bell telephone works as a submanager, and lived at Dana Avenue, Royal Oak, Michigan where he was last heard of. possibly married a dutch nurse. What records are there of him?

There were 2 John Seymours travelled together, but the other one seems to have disappeared.

sorry this is a bit vague.. thanks for any help.

Thank you both very much.
Now, I don't want to be greedy, but --- is there any record of children ?
This is for my husband's Irish tree, not mine, and is all collected from scraps of envelope
given by my Father in law.
Where did you find all this?

My info came from:
https://www.familysearch.org/

and the SSDI records on Ancestry.

I didn't see any children, but the census only goes up to 1930,so it's hard to tell.

You may have some luck with this site:

http://data.wmgs.org/Newspapers/FMPro?-db=Orders&-lay=NewspapersOrders&-format=search.htm&-New

It looks as though both Rose's and John's obituaries can be ordered online.

Good luck,
Maureen
Edit: Quicker url for the Newspaper obits is to go through:
