mother in laws father was Edward Leavers D-O-B 06/12/1905, His siblings were George, Margaret, Lawrence, and Olive.
Unsure of birthplace, mother said they moved around a lot armed forces.

Julie, it is much better to reply on the thread so that all helpers can see the information.

Have you got a birth certificate for any of William Leavers/Elizabeth Marsh's children? This will have their Mother's maiden name on it. She could have been married before, which would make the marriage more difficult to find. Have you got death dates for either of them?
You have to work backwards from known information, getting all the certificates for verification.

Not seeing any marriage for them

When was your MIL's father born? What was his name?

I am currently trying to find my mother in laws paternal grandfather I know very little about the Leavers branch. William Leavers possibly born 1880 in Nottinghamshire. Married Elizabeth Marsh ? when. I cannot find their marriage certificate listed. If anyone can help, it would be most appreciated.
