I'm trying to locate the family Burrows.

Charles Frederick Burrows (father)
Wife’s name unknown
Fred Burrows b. around 1900 (son)
Mary Burrows b. ? (daughter)

Lived Warwickshire possibly close to Birmingham.

The son (Frank) eventually married a Ivy Tidmarsh Tropman in 1936 June 19th, She unfortunately died very soon after the marriage and Frank remarried a Mary P Smith.

My problem is getting started into Franks Father's family.

Can anyone help please
:-D

Hi Brummiejan

Would you believe it if I said his occupation, "Coffin Inspector", well that is what I have been told.

Would that have been a humourous way of saying he was deceased ?

What you have been told - mmm! Where has the info come from? You need to see a marriage cert at the very least.
Who is Frank?

Is it just me getting confused here?

Who was Frank?

The first post gives the family you are looking for as:

Charles Frederick Burrows (father)
Wife’s name unknown
Fred Burrows b. around 1900 (son) ????
Mary Burrows b. ? (daughter)

Should the Fred you mention actually be 'Frank' - If not, where goes Frank come in?

Perhaps it is me?

Thanks to all of you.
Okay, let's revise that information of 'Coffin inspector' to “COTTON INSPECTOR.” It’s on the marriage cert for Frank (the son of Charles) first marriage to Ivy.
It’s the occupation of the father (Charles). Put that down to age and my cousins voice on the phone. I’m convinced she said Coffin inspector, she didn’t comment when I burst out laughing..
Sorry for the delay in getting back, boss made me cut the grass.

Oh, by the time of Franks marriage (1936) his father had died. Don't know when .(yet)

Cotton Inspector - heh heh!

So, it's Frank not Fred then? Can you give address and names of witnesses please.
