Could this be Ellen and Mary Ann going to America? Ellen is 38 and a wife from Roscommon. Mary Ann is 13 from Rathkeath?

Hi,
I have been researching the Higgins family who originated from the Kilmovee/Kilkelly area of Co Mayo.
Ellen Doherty married Michael Higgins in Kilmovee in 1868 and they had the following children: Martin Higgins born 1868. Mary Ann Higgins born 1870. (Twins) Michael & John Higgins 1872.
Martin Higgins left Ireland and settled in England. He married in Stockport Cheshire in 1895. In 1904 he is recorded on a ships passenger list on his way to visit his mother Mrs Ellen Higgins who was living at 71, Joseph Street, Newark, New Jersey. (I can't find her listed on any USA Census).
It is unknown what happened to Ellen's twin sons, but the family believe that Michael Higgins died quite young, which leaves John Higgins... but living where?
Ellen's daughter Mary Ann Higgins became a Nun. After much research I have received an email with the following details from the Dominican Sisters of Hope, Ossining, NY USA:
Sister Mary Mannes Higgins born Mary Ann Higgins in 1870. Father: Michael Higgins Mother: Ellen Doherty
8/28/1970 baptized at Immaculate Conception Church in Kilmovee Ireland. Entered Religious Life: 12/8/1903 Profession: 8/24/1905 Death: 5/18/1944 at New Jersey State Hospital, Greystone, NJ Burial at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Newburgh, NY.
The email ended with the following: In 1983 the above information was sent to her grand niece, Mrs. Lois Jennings Tack.
I can only guess that perhaps Mrs Lois Jennings Tack is the grand-daughter of either Michael or John Higgins. Sadly to date I haven't been able to locate any of the Higgins family who went to the USA, nor can I locate Mrs Lois Jennings Tack (I presume that she lives in the USA) so as to make contact with her.
Any help, however small would be appreciated. Lin.
