I know that Ann Shaw born 1825 was the daughter of William and Ann. In his will dated 1861 he names all his children and by this date Ann is now Mrs Ann Percey.

I have checked under Perc(e)y.Percie, Persey, Pierce(y), Pearce(y), Pacey
and cannot find her on the1861 or further census returns. I cannot find a death eithor.

I would appreciate any ideas of where to look next. Many thanks.

Thanks for the info.

Ann is referred to as Ann Percey in her father's will of 1861 whereas the 1861 census return that you mention is for Ann Smith. Ann Shaw and Job Smith were married in 1851.

I would love to claim them as mine but I am doubtful that they could be. It is however another one eliminated.
