Thanks Jax.

I actually have the ancestral info for my grandparents, William Bright and Beatrice James. I just didn't know when they married. So this is great!

I greatly appreciate everyone's help!

Thanks Kucinta.

Does anyone know when the 1911 census took place?
From the census it looks like BRIGHT, Hilda Lily was born in 1911.

My cousins told me their mother was born January 17, 1910. It's possible they had her date wrong by a year?

You cant look up a GRO ref marriage .you need that ref to buy the cert from
www.gro.gov.uk cost £9.25 per cert.

Some London Parish Record copies are on Ancestry so you can view the Church copy which is lovely cos its the actual writing ,BUT for other areas you have to buy the certs,

Scottish ones are viewable online but its a pay site and after a c1911 you still have to order the cert through the site which is then sent by post.

I am searching for the 1910 marriage of my grandfather, William Bright to Ida James.

Freebmd gives me this record: William Bright, Salisbury 5a 441.

Could anyone look this up please?

Many thanks,
Murray
