there are Conniss births with mothers Burrows and Greenwood, in Devonshire and Bedfordshire, but no marriages in those names, so probably these are the other brothers, who married in Ireland ?

is James William Conniss born abt 1887 in Lanarkshire his brother ? Ancestry has a WWI service record for him ... and he matches the person in the census Lindsey found ..... that record also shows next of kin Miss Mary Conniss in Limerick, there was a Mary in the 1901 census .... there is a letter about James being a prisoner of war ?

can you say what you are really looking for ? you can' t be looking for him, he will be in his grave :-)

you know who his brother was ( your ancestor ? ) so you know about his ancestors ?

could this be his death ?

I am looking for David Conniss born 1893 in Galway Ireland he moved to England and I have found an address on his brothers military records it looks like 105 ups Brook st Winchester he lived there in 1918 he was aged 25 when he lived there .Thankyou :-S
