Hi all

I have a Thomas Wharton b 1876 ( as stated on teh 1911 census) and can trace him on the 1911 and 1901 census but not on the 1891 or 1881 census. I have his place of birth as being little meols, hoylake. Wirral. In 1901 he was noted as a visitor to 24 violet street, toxteth park, liverpool and being a licenced victuallers assistant to a James Keefe and his wife Lillie. James Keefe is noted as being born in India and aged 35. Can anyone suggest where i can look to find Thomas or can you trace him on any other records?
