There is also someone with Henrys wife in their tree, and looking at living relatives on ancestry she could still be alive but to find the address you need to purchase credits

There are people with her in their trees so could be a good idea to try to contact them rather than guessing

I do have the death certificate but have no way of knowing for sure that this is my granddad.
It says he was a merchant seaman, 52 yrs old. Died of pulmonary tuberculosis.
There is a widow's signature - E. Corbyn. Present at the time of death at 11 Woolster Street, Plymouth.

There was no divorce from my Gran. I haven't been able to find any records to indicate a 2nd marriage. So maybe it was common-law.

I can't find any other family with this guy in their tree. That's why I'm asking for help.

Merchant seaman records might get him from Yarmouth to Plymouth.

Getting a copy of that certificate may answer some questions (but possibly pose some more!)

Henry Geo Samuel was born 13 Dec 1888 at 9 Tower Street, Yarmouth to Henry Corbyn & Ann Annison Corbyn.
He's on the 1891 & 1901 Yarmouth censuses.
1911 census has him as Geo Corbyn in H M Prison, Norwich.
He joined the Royal Navy as Geo Corbyn 15 Oct 1914 (DA1672).
Married Lucy Eleanor Parvin 15 Feb 1919 in Littlehampton.
Fathered my dad George Henry Corbyn 13 Jul 1920 Littlehampton.
His military records show he transferred from Littlehampton to Yarmouth 17 Jun 1922, and was finally discharged 23 Oct 1923.
That's the last I know of him.

I know he fathered another family and that he died of galloping consumption.

It is possible in died in Plymouth 14 Apr 1940 but I have no connection from 1923 to 1940 that proves it is the same man.

Any help in getting more details on my granddad would be appreciated.
