Ive hit a brick wall in my seach for ancestors who came over from Ireland...Can anyone advise me about sites holding bdm records from Ireland? I have traced my line to a John Cashman who married Catherine and have no idea how to find Catherine's surname as I believe them to have been married in Ireland....they had three daughters...Ellen Elizabeth and Mary ...the family settled in South East London - I believe it may have been known as Middlesex area at the time...circa 1820's. |

I believe all three daughters were born in SE London in England...Ellen Elizabeth and Mary...John and Catherine were probably married in Cork in Ireland then came to England...possibly the eldest girl Ellen COULD have been born in Cork in Ireland and accompanied her parents as a baby....Im not sure at all. |
