Hi Lady's....Helen ,Pat, and LadyKira

i have just received the death cert of Dorothy nellie Hills nee west
and this confirms that she is an ancestor
it states that Dorothy was a widow and had 5 children still living at the time of her death.....7th december 1984.... 3 males 58,52,51,-- 2 females age 54,and 40
im now ready for the next step in locating my great aunts children
how do i go about this
would any one know!!

i will have a look a cert :-D...he was 32 and she 21
dorothy was b 1904 in westham essex england ...she and family arrived in nz 1913 and she married smith in.9th feb.1925/9646 Dorothy Nellie West John Smith
her parents are john west and eliza ellen west nee christopher
and now im wondering if any children to this couple xx

i put in seaman .for the newzealand bdms ..Qld and nsw..nothing on either dorothy or john...

this is probably why i couldnt find Dorothy Nellie smith nee
west was there any children to this marriage or the seaman one
would love to know is there any way i would be able to find any..
she married john smith in 1925 was it a divorce or an annulment ..any way of finding out!

Hi, can tell you both lived at 224 Great Nth Rd, W 2 in 1935 & 1838.
Dorothy Nellie SMITH married, John Henry Seaman. From the Grey Lynn (Auckland) General Roll. Pat

its Delhea Hinea but the a is an s ... i put my glass's on this time
the Delhea is wrong she was most likely called dorothea...
but Martha sounds right my gran was named Jessie Elizabeth and
my grandad called her mollie ..it took me for ever to find her birth ....
.most likely a male thing...who knows....lol are there any deaths for them......thanks heaps

I was just having a dig around with regards to possible mother. Have you got Johns full date of birth by any chance?

Is this her first and second name on the certificate 1st Delhea 2nd Hinea

martha Haine is this her ...why would it be spelt Delhea Hinea
on marriage cert of there son ......strange
so i have had another look at certificate and surname is right but 1st name is Delhea maybe son didn't know how to spell his mothers name would they have died in England and had passed away before john went to NZ mm be nice to know!!

That mothers name cant be correct, Ive search various spellings and nothing is showing that matches

I dont suppose you know when/where Johns parents were married or when he left the UK for NZ?
