Hello Everyone,
I have a MARIA MILLER in my tree who married a Thomas Sims in 1835,my problem is that I have been unable to find Maria Miller's parents and I wondered if anyone has any suggestions please ?

I know from the family bible that MARIA MILLER was born in Bolton Le Moor Lancashire 02/02/1811 and she married Thomas Oliver Sims 25/08/1835 at ST Peters church Bolton Le Moor . I even have the vicars name,Charles Agar Hunt.
I can find the marriage record on Familysearch.org but it does not name her parents and I have been unable to find her birth.
Can anyone please help ?
Kath

You should also check the local rego office index at
http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk/

It shows 7 births 1838-1851 - presumably the other 2 you mention were pre civil registration (started 1837q3) - all 7 were in the Little Bolton sub rego district.
