Find Ancestors

Hello

I am trying to trace predecessors for the above.

Abraham was born in Prittlewell, Southend in c1808 and was married to Diana.

They lived in Kent, where Abraham was a coastguard. He is listed as a Pensioner Coastguard in the 1891 census.

He is not the Abraham Braybrook who was deported as a Convict to Australia.

I cannot trace his birth record or their marriage certificate, so do not know Diana's maiden name. She was born in the same year in Rayleigh Essex.

They had a total of 7 children, but I cannot find any record on Anthea who did appear in the 1841 census aged 2. She does not appear on the 1951 census, so I assume she may have died. Again I can find no record.

I would be so grateful to hear from anyone who has details of them or any advice for me.

Is this the family.
On looking at the original image Anthea as you have it I think is Arthur.
Could that be the case.

How do think you that Albreda De Braybrook could be related? Just interested to know you came up with that.

I remember as a child being told that someone in the family long ago said the Braybrooks were of Portugese/Spanish origin. I am really not good at all this.
