Mike
I can understand that, but there is another post on here for Glover and they haven't been reported,

I guess it's the fact that some of the people you mention may still be living.
Privacy laws and all that ..

I see someone else has posted details of birth marriage dates on here, up to 2005, do they get reported too !!!!

Lesley

Lesley Report 21 Jun 2011 18:12

Why has my post been reported and is being reviewed. I thought this was a find ancestors page.
Why shouldn't the birth marriage dates have been posted ?

Am i missing something here, i have never had a problem before, and everyone else posts dates etc. People put the dates in o that maybe others can help to find ancestors

I agree the details of birth and marriage dates should not have been posted.

But maybe the reporter could have asked for them to be removed first?

Or maybe they are fed up with being accused of being the board police just like I am?

Sorry if I provoked that reportage. I didn't mean to

jax

jax Report 21 Jun 2011 16:16

Well that did'nt take long for someone to report this post did it?

There are plenty on the living relatives board that could be reviewed too

If GR do not mind what is posted why bother?

As mentioned Lesley you have to pay to see the address ancestry living relatives search is the same and I think it is cheaper than 192.com

There is another board for tracing living relations.

Jonesey
It doesn't seem to give their Address even though they are x directory, it just says the persons name, who else lives in the household, and the town name of Chorley, and 2002 Electoral Roll.
It is annoying just having this little amount of info

jax

jax Report 21 Jun 2011 15:03

You need to pay to see address's

jax

sorry I read it wrong I thought you were loking for children of the couple who married in 1997

Jonesey

Jonesey Report 21 Jun 2011 15:02

They may well be ex-directory but if they appear on the electoral roll their address must be indicated. I am afraid that it is a case of paying your money to see the address and probably then writing to them at the address.

Jonesey
I have found two Birtwistles on the Electoral Roll but it doesn't give addresses or tel. numbers, as i presume they are x directory

Jonesey

Maybe you will be able to locate them via the Electoral register.

This site offers you the facility to look:

Can I ask why you are trying to find a child of this couple?
