Not sure if this is in the right place but perhaps some kind soul can point me in the right direction.
An ancester of mine had shares in Norths Navigation Colliery, South Wales around 1890ish. I was wondering does anyone know if the widows of men killed in the mines received compensation possibly in the form of shares. This may help me in my quest to find her husband.
Many thanks,
Ken
