You will know that Frank was still in St Nicholas' BA. When Helen Mary was born to him and Emily 1893....
If Helen survived (and given she is mentioned in her g'mothers will..guess she did) then I would be after trying to find a marriage for her...that would reveal if her father was still alive at the time....

To all, many thanks for your efforts, let me explain, This family headed by William Butler (not Baker) Whitaker and Mary Ann May comprised of William Butler, Frank Brewster, Clara Elizabeth,Florence Mary, Charles Bernal, Percy Lewis, Harold Digby, Beatrice May,Gladys Beril and Margarita Day.All have been accounted for all around the world, and I have all the records from various churches in Buenos Aires, in the 1900 the family returned to UK with some leaving for US, Canada and Australia.
The will of the head of the family William Butler makes no mention of any of the children and leaves all to his wife Mary Ann May, on her death in 1913 in Greenwich she mentions Harold Digby as one of the executers of her will but no Frank Brewster, however Records show That Frank had a daughter Helen Mary Whitaker and Mary Ann made provision for her in her will.
It only remains for me to say I know all about these two by way of records but I have never in 46 years been able to find what happened to them.
Regards To you all Jim

There are a couple of census returns for Buenos Aires on Familysearch.
Sorry can“t remember what dates they are for & even the English names have been converted to Spanish where possible.
Worth a look though. I found someone I was searching for a friend on there & he had emigrated in about 1885

I have a family named Whitaker from Nottingham who left for Buenos Aires Argentina in the 1870s, most of the family were accounted for by way of church records and census.
However two individuals seem to have slipped the net namely Frank Brewster Whitaker and his brother Harold Digby Whitaker.
All the other family members returned to UK in 1900s or traveled to Aust or USA. any sighting would be appreciated
