ok! I have John (born Dublin), him on the 1901 irish cencus aged 56yrs living in Dublin with his wife Mary (born Kings Co./ Galway), and son James (born Dublin), aged 17yrs. John was recorded as a Land Steward.
Also, 1911 cencus where it was recorded they had been married for 40 years, 9 children born, 8 living.
His son John was born 2 Sept 1874 Address Belcamp, Clontarf, Co. Dublin (IFH info); Patrick born 2 April 1876 Address Diamor, Kilskyre, Co. Meath ; Martin Joseph 1877; Catherine 1879; Anna Christina 1880; Winifred 1882. There`s 3 left? and I must admit I have`nt looked for the child who died yet??
I was thinking if she was born in Galway, then they may have married there? Or if the family moved abroad they may have married there? Nothing has shown on Ancestry or other search engines? Hummmm??? :-S

I have lots of information after they were married ie their children and children`s children etc;
I`m trying to trace back? I know the many name changes that happened e.g. using middle names, perhaps John was his middle name? Mary might be Marie, Maria, Margaret etc.
They stayed in Ireland, mainly Dublin and I have the cemetary records.
Their son Martin Joseph was a really important man in Regina, Canada - Head of Police and lots written about him. I`ve tried that route too???
:-S
