Hi,

Does anyone have access to the parish records for Hose, Leicestershire?
I'm looking for the christening or birth of Henry Nall son of John born c1815.

They are on the Hugh Wallis batch site but none appears to be listed for that surname

Hi Glitter Baby,

Thanks, I don't know the Hugh Wallis batch site.

Henry's mother was Mary Mantle and they went to live in Cotgrave where John is from. I found some possable baptisms on the familysearch site for a Mary Nall daughter of John and Mary on 12 May 1818 at Boughton Sulney and then a marriage for Mary to Henry Corner in Hose Dec 1840 and that says she was from Cotgrave. Also a Elizabeth Nall baptized 1 Jan 1817.

1851 census for Henry Nall says he had a sister Ann Nall born abt 1826 Cotgrave, she is with some of the Mantle family in Hose on the 1841 census.

No baptism on IGI for Henry but could this be his parents' marriage?

This is the address for Hugh Wallis site - it lists parishes by county with the relevant IGI batch numbers. Clicking on a batch number brings up a search box. The parish list is not complete and hasn't been added to for several years but the site is a good resource.
