Hi Patchem

I have their marriage certificate and their ages of 28 and 21 from that.

I don't know of any children except after 1911, but I would be suprised if there wern't any.

The match Ginny has found is not them, William was a shipyard labourer.

Regards

Chrissey

Hi MarieCeleste

The names, William's job and length of marriage are right but their ages are different from the marraige cert by 3 years older and 4 years younger respectively.

Is it worth a gamble on this being a daughter?

Patchem, that would be the lassie on the 1911 I posted above. The certificate may indeed be worth a bet.

I never take for gospel ages given on census or marriage certificates.

MarieCeleste

MarieCeleste Report 23 Jun 2011 19:49

Diane, can you give us all of the info from the marriage certificate?

Father's names and occupations, address, witnesses.

chrissey

chrissey Report 23 Jun 2011 19:55

Hi Pathem

Georgina is possibly the same as family Ginny found.

Had a look at map and East Cross Street where they were living when married is less than a mile from Norman Street.

Will have to buy Georgina's birth cert and see if it is a match

Thanks very much one and all

Chrissey :-D ;-)
