Thanks also Jan, i will quiz my freind a bit more.

On free cen i just found a John Holden brn 1822, in 1861 he is a in Yorkshire but states he was born Brentwood Essex.

Well, I think you need to find out more. For example, who did he marry? Who were his children?
I am wondering how you got back to him in the first place.

Is he around in 1851, he did emmigrate to Australia at some time.

Hello, this is for a freind who tells me that John B Holden was brn 1822 Boxted Colchester. He only tells me this possible birth date from some paperwork he has.

He has no census information yet.
