I am researching my boyfriends family.

His x3 great grandfather was Henry Davies. He was born c1855, he married Eliza Egersdorff in 1871 in London.
He is present in 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 but not prior.

His occupations vary from Hat Maker to Boot Maker.
His marriage certificate states his father was Thomas Davies, a cap maker.

Do you have any details on his parents, apart from his father's name ?

I have no details at all. Only from what his marriage certificate gave which was the fathers name of Thomas and he was a Cap Maker in 1871.
