Find Ancestors

Trying to find when my great grandfather died and where. Born 1849 in hoylake on the wirral ,married annie 1870 ,4 children,george-thomas,eda,ernest,annie. Can't find his death record he was steamship engineer.

Were they all on the steam ship in 1881?

Thanks all new to this i am afraid responded to each of you . so to confirm yes that is him and parents and siblings in 1861 census and 1871 with his wife and new son,but can't find him in any other census his last child born 1882 annie he was dead by 1906 thats all i know of him

Hi Mike, Last census 1871 in birkenhead with his wife and new son he was alive in 1882 as annie his last was born.Thanks for the wigan i had the birth certificate for that already and it was not him.

i know joseph washington was dead by 1906 as his son ernest got married and father deceased on certificate. Yes the 1911 census in despard road is correct family hannah is joes widow she was annie when they married and that changed at some time
